Finally, issue 19 of the journal includes articles that cover various facets of soundcommunication in Latin America. Londoño (2024), researcher from Universidad Indoamericana, undertakes an exhaustive analysis of the public radio industries in Ecuador, especially in a context that promotes the digitization of content. Meanwhile, the study by Seni (2024), professor at the Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, conducts a rhetorical analysis of some of the most legendary compositions of the music genre known as vallenato, an approach that is novel within the field of musical studies in the region which generally opt for designs closer to ethnography or anthropology.
