As attested by various books and monographs, community media have become important axes of contemporary media communication. (2024) from the Northern Technical University analyzes community media in Ecuador through a mixed methodology, using the social mobilizations in the Andean country in 2019 as a starting point. The results highlight a segment of the population's preference for consuming such media, noting their information as accurate, objective, and verified during a period of social and political upheaval.
